The manufacturing management concentration is designed for students who are interested in general (applied) engineering, technology and management positions in the manufacturing sector. With an emphasis on hands-on applications/learning, students will spend time designing, fabricating and experimenting in labs. They will tackle real-world projects gaining skills in teamwork, critical thinking and leadership. Topics covered include lean manufacturing, manufacturing management, database applications, sustainability, CNC and manufacturing processes (simulation, parametric modeling). Upon graduation, students will be prepared for career opportunities as process engineers, manufacturing engineers, plant managers, production designers, production supervisors and more.
