Physical therapists (PTs) are in high demand across the country. To become a licensed PT, however, you need to obtain an advanced professional degree such as a doctorate. Most doctorate programs require you to have a bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.Ìý

At ºù«Ӱҵ, you can declare a pre-professional program, pre-PT, along with your major. You will be assigned a faculty advisor who will help you design a program of study that prepares you for the rigorous academic coursework needed for entrance into an advanced practice doctorate program.Ìý

Our pre-professional allied health program gives you the flexibility to change your mind about your future. You’ll graduate with a marketable degree that will prepare you for a wide variety of future career paths. You’ll have a solid foundation in the basic and applied sciences, including physiology, anatomy, kinesiology, health and fitness, and exercise and medicine, as well as practical, hands-on experience under your belt.Ìý
